While working for the Salt Lake County Auditor, Kelly Ann, had the opportunity to defend a man accused of criminal activity, largely because of his lifestyle.
At trial, she won the case; the man was acquitted of all charges. Soon after, she realized that she wanted to again practice law full time, dedicating her practice to criminal defense.
